How long should your PVC high speed mixer replace the mixing tools?

The replacement cycle of the mixing blade of the PVC high speed mixer is generally determined according to the wear of the blade, and there is no fixed time. The reason is that when mixing different materials, due to the different hardness and particle size of the materials, the friction of the stirring blade is very different when it runs at high speed.

For the soft PVC formula, it is no need to change mixing tools in one year or even two years because of low filler calcium portion. While for rigid PVC formula which has high portion of calcium powder, the mixer blades need to be checked and replaced in two or three months, or maximum six months according to the feedback from end-users of Kenneth mixers.

We can simply determine whether the mixing knives of the PVC high speed mixer need to be replaced through the following two points:

1. If the mixing time is too long, after the blades of the high-speed mixer been worn out, part of the cutting edge will be passivated, and there will be phenomena such as uneven mixing, full temperature rise, and slow mixing speed. It can be judged by the feedback of the workshop production personnel. At this time, it can be improved by replacing the stirring blade of the high-mixer.

2. Observe the appearance of the blades of the mixer. Here are a few samples. If the mixing blades have the following wear conditions, they shall be replaced in time.
